Danfe is a Social Enterprise of SAATH (www.saath.org.np) designed for girls affected by the earthquake in Nepal in 2015. The beneficiaries of the project were given advanced tailoring training for past 1 year. We make our products locally stitched by our own beneficiaries who come from Sindhupalchowk, Rasuwa, Kavre and Makwanpur. Like the bird Danfe, our project envisions to instil more dimension in the lives of individual we work with and for. The different color symbolizes people from different background, ethnicity and culture coming together as one.
